In partnership with MSHDA, HSHE wrote the 2024 Michigan Statewide Housing Needs Assessment to serve as a foundation for informed decision-making, providing a roadmap for the development of policies and initiatives that will positively impact our state's housing market. This needs assessment expands upon MSHDA’s first statewide housing needs assessment, published in 2019. In the report, HSHE and MSHDA analyze various data sources to understand the shifting dynamics of the housing market in Michigan.
